Hero was adopted from HFLCS Rescue out of Buffalo, MO. He has been with his veteran since he finished his training at OCC in January 2019. He has been trained to retrieve, block, and cover items. Hero also lets his veteran know when his blood sugar is too low or high. He carries his veteran insulin in his backpack and is always eager to please! Hero also alerted his veteran when his heart was failing and was on constant alert when his veteran's heart stopped for 10 seconds.
